Katakora is the dedicated home for African cultural and historical audio creators. Upload your work, reach listeners who are already looking for it, and earn from your first story on your own terms.
Full IP ownership. Non-exclusive license. Katakora is one more home for your work and the only one you will probably need. Publish anywhere else we'll never lock you in.
Everyone on Katakora came looking for exactly what you make. No algorithm. No competing with dance challenge reels. Just listeners who want African cultural and historical audio.
Some stories should reach everyone. Others are worth charging for. Mark a story free and every listener on the platform can find it. Mark it paid and set your own price. Per episode or the whole story.
Listeners can tip you directly, become recurring supporters, or unlock and purchase your stories. You don't need a large following before you earn.
Streams, completion rates, listening time, retention: all in your creator dashboard. Understand what your audience finishes, what they replay, and where you lose them.
Hosting, infrastructure, and distribution cost you nothing. Katakora only takes a tini-tiny 10% cut only when you earn, never upfront.
Submit your application with details about your content and creative background. Takes a few minutes.
Our team reviews your application. Once approved, you get notified.
Upload your stories, set them free or paid, and let listeners find you. Katakora handles the rest.
